Overview
Gressingham was founded in 1971 as a family business and, for over 50 years, has been producing and supplying duck, turkey, and poultry specialties in the United Kingdom through a large portfolio of products under the Gressingham brand. The business has approximately 700 staff, operates from a processing facility in East Anglia and has an agricultural value chain including parent breeding, commercial farms and hatcheries
LDC is a family-owned French agri-food company specialised in the processing and sales of poultry as well as in the development of fresh and frozen ready meal products. The Group is one of Europe’s leading poultry suppliers with €6.3bn annual turnover, 27,000 employees and 105 sites. This acquisition supports LDC's international strategy by expanding its UK presence alongside its Welsh subsidiary and European imports, enabling a broader offering to UK customers.
