Founded in 1905 by Thomas Fentiman, Fentimans has a unique 120‑year legacy rooted in tradition while remaining highly relevant for modern consumers. The business offers a curated portfolio of botanically brewed products across adult soft drinks and mixers, clearly differentiated by quality and flavour. Fentimans has built significant scale across multiple channels,with a strong UK presence across both in‑home and out‑of‑home, complemented by a substantial export business.
A.G. Barr p.l.c. is a UK-based branded multi beverage business with a portfolio of market‑leading brands including IRN‑BRU, Rubicon, Boost and FUNKIN.
This acquisition reflects the execution of more meaningful and targeted M&A to elevate growth for A.G. Barr through broadening the brand portfolio while providing further opportunities for cost synergies.
