Spayne Lindsay & Co. is delighted to announce that it has advised Ella and Matthew Mills, founders and shareholders of all plants, a leading UK natural, plant-based food brand, on its sale to Fleury Michon, the French family-controlled food group and a market leader in chilled convenience foods.
Originally launched in 2022 as Plants by Deliciously Ella, the brand was established with the ambition of making delicious, natural, plant-rich food more accessible to consumers. Following Spayne Lindsay’s advice to the founders on the sale of Deliciously Ella to Hero Group in 2024, Plants became an independent business. The brand was subsequently renamed all plants following Ella and Matthew’s acquisition of the brand name and intellectual property from the administrators of the former all plants business.
Under the founders’ ownership, all plants has established a significant presence across the UK grocery market, securing national distribution with leading retailers and developing a distinctive portfolio of innovative, category-leading products.
Founded in 1905 in Vendée, France, Fleury Michon is a family-controlled food group listed on Euronext Paris. With a heritage spanning more than 120 years, the group is a leading player in the French chilled food market, with established positions in charcuterie, ready meals and convenient meal solutions.
The acquisition represents a significant strategic milestone for Fleury Michon, marking its entry into the UK market and accelerating its ambitions in natural, plant-based convenience foods.
